  1. This directory contains a complete set of C-Kermit 4E(070) files, modified 
  2. for use with the Minix operating system. The files are only marginally 
  3. changed from the C-Kermit distribution, and the modified files (all having 
  4. names of the form ckx---.-) may co-exist in the standard distribution without
  5. conflict. 
  6.  
  7. The Minix changes are conditionally compiled in the ckxfio.c and ckxtio.c 
  8. files, and these may be used in place of ckufio.c and ckutio.c in any system, 
  9. as far as I know.

  11. The files relevant only to the minix build are:

  13.     ckxker.msg    -    This file
  14.  
  15.     ckxker.bld    -    Building and usage comments
  16.  
  17.     ckxfio.c    -    Modified source files
  18.     ckxtio.c    -
  19.  
  20.     ckxker.mak    -    Makefile for use under MS-DOS.

  22.     ckxker.out    -    Executable file in binary and 
  23.     ckxker.boo    -    ascii format.

  26. All other files in the directory are included only for completeness, and are
  27. copied without change from 4E(070), obtained from the Lancaster distribution
  28. tapes of 19-Apr-1988.
